Flint River Trail

The Flint River Trail offers a unique glimpse of Genesee County's natural beauty. The trail follows the Flint River from downtown to Bluebell Beach in the Genesee County Recreation Area. The approximate 12-mile loop is filled with scenes of flowers and shrubbery set against the river. There are multiple areas along the route for parking and picnics. The Flint River Trail is mostly asphalt and welcomes both walkers and bicycle riders. WalkFlint suggests beginning the route at the Flint Farmers' Market with free parking and snacks for the trip available on various days throughout the year! Throughout the 12-mile hike, there are several local eateries to enjoy.
